Esben really likes to direct commercials. He also likes to direct longer films. He dislikes people who claim that you can´t do both.
His films have been in competition and won awards at the worlds largest and most prestigious festivals including Cannes, Clermont Ferrand, Palm Springs, Cinequest, Chicago, Giffoni and Venice International Film Festivals. In the last couple of years he has been one of the most award winning Danish short fiction directors.
In 2003 he directed his first two commercial spec´s. Both were shortlistet at the Young Director´s Award in Cannes Lions.
